Bohdan Luts Ukraine, 15, Senior

Bohdan Luts was born in Lviv, Ukraine and began playing the violin at the age of six in the class of Yaroslava Kataryna. He previously studied at the S. Krushelnytska Boarding School in Lviv, with Mariya Futorska, and at the M. Lysenko Boarding School in Kiev, with Olga Korinets. He currently studies at the International Menuhin Music Academy with Oleg Kaskiv. Bohdan has won numerous prizes at international competitions, including the International Grumiaux Competition, the Lvivskiy Virtuoz International Competition and the Il Piccolo Violino Magico International Competition. He has received masterclasses from renowned violinists including Pinchas Zukerman, Igor Pikaizen and Sergey Ostrovsky.
